We wanted to provide an update, further to the information provided yesterday about how COVID-19 is impacting us all (you can see the previous communication on our website page here).
Every client that is currently booked for treatment at Repromed has now been contacted by our nursing team to discuss next steps and associated refunds. We are sorry for those of you that had to learn this news via email due to poor phone coverage after the government announcement yesterday, but we wanted to get in touch as soon as possible.
It is with much sadness that we have had to cancel treatments that have already started. We want you to know that Repromed is following the District Health Board’s directive to us which is to complete treatment this week. Our team are passionately doing their best to manage each individual client’s needs, while managing the health risks for themselves, their families, our team and the health system. But we are very aware that by us following the direction given, it is hugely upsetting for our clients.

Unfortunately we are not able to start new treatment cycles as this is not considered medically necessary in the COVID-19 level 4 alert status. There will be no further treatment cycles initiated at this time. If you were planning on starting treatment, please email to check the status. We will regularly update our website and Facebook page with further information about timelines for resuming service, following advice from the government.
For current clients and those booked in for upcoming treatment, our nursing team are available on email to give guidance and answer any questions that you may have between 9am and 4pm weekdays. Please email .
All publically funded patients are at this time on hold for orientations and treatment until further notice and we are waiting further advice from the Northern Region Fertility Services regarding next steps for these clients. We will update you as soon as we have confirmation.

For pregnant clients and those due to have a pregnancy test, you will be contacted by the nurses to prepare a plan for further monitoring. We understand that those that are pregnant will likely feel anxious about their own health and that of their unborn baby.
