Kia Ora koutou katoa,
As we approach the end of the year, I wanted to say a personal thank you to all our clients who have honoured us by choosing Repromed. 2020 has certainly been a very challenging year – there are moments we hope to never re-live, and also some big highs for our clinic which I’d like to share.
This year has been Repromed’s busiest yet and we’re grateful for your support – especially as we navigated the impact of Covid-19 on our clinic.
The knock-on effect of the first lockdown was far reaching and incredibly personal to each individual…
There was the reality of needing to urgently cancel or postpone treatment which was distressing for all. The delays in courier services disrupted treatments involving sperm donation and genetic testing. Some treatments were cancelled as embryos from overseas could not travel to NZ for long-awaited donation. Zoom call consultations and support via tutorial videos are now the norm. Managing Covid-19 restrictions has been challenging but we are in a good position to manage any future restrictions, if need be. I’m proud of how our team responded and their genuine passion for supporting our clients through difficult times.
With Dr Devashana Gupta beside me as Deputy Medical Director, we’re pleased to have appointed several new team members who bring a high calibre of experience to Repromed. We now offer full support for those clients that speak Mandarin or Hindi, from first consultation and throughout treatment.
An exciting achievement for us this year was being named a finalist at the Rainbow Excellence Awards 2020, in recognition for our initiative with Sperm Positive. Read more on our website if interested: bit.ly/2Jnglj7
From all our team, have a safe and relaxing holiday break and we look forward to helping you achieve your family goals in 2021.
Dr Guy Gudex
