Reflecting on 2019

Guy Gudex, Repromed Medical Director

As we approach the end of the year, it is timely to reflect on the many milestones and achievements at Repromed.

We have now completed 5 years of being a provider of publicly funded services in the Northern Region and we are delighted with the results we have achieved and the level of service we have provided. All our public funded clients receive exactly the same high quality of treatment and same wrap-around care and support throughout their IVF treatment, as our private clients.

Fertility treatment can be very demanding and stressful and our job at Repromed is to try and make that journey as easy as possible.  Our focus is on individual and personalised care and from the last feedback surveys we have received, it appears we are achieving this with the majority of clients rating us as excellent.

We are proud to have developed resources for our Hindi and Chinese speaking clients including instructional videos. We hope this helps make the fertility journey easier for them to understand.

Our team members have attended and presented at several international conferences this year to ensure we are both contributing and staying at the forefront of new developments. We have continued to participate in several research projects including the FIX study for unexplained infertility and the SELFI Lipiodol study. Both studies will be completed next year and we hope the information gained will add to our understanding of treating unexplained infertility.

Again we are delighted to have been be reaccredited with Rainbow tick certification, and I want to acknowledge that Repromed was the first health provider in NZ to achieve it. We are proud that this demonstrates our commitment to inclusivity and diversity.

Thank you for choosing Repromed, we honour the privilege of helping you achieve your goal of a creating a family in a way that respects your personal values.
